The Railer has long loathed the pompous New York windbag, Governor Andrew Cuomo. Although he is the son of another New York Governor, he totally lacks his father’s Chavez style charisma. Like Hillary Clinton, Cuomo Junior’s voice is nails on a chalkboard. He talks to New Yorkers like a kindergarten teacher. There is always an air of condescension. He speaks slowly, uses simple words, whines, and pleads, and repetitively overstates the obvious. With just the smallest bit of imagination, you can almost hear his lectures as baby-talk, that goo-goo speak that parents use with infants.
Wut duz my widdle wascal want, sum moooor peez en cawwots? Wudent dat be vewy, vewy deewishus? We shuddent hab gunz now shud we? Guns huwt widdle chilldwen. No buddy needz a gun, dere bad for you. Or… Doan u think dat da rich shud pay dere fare share? Da rich hav wots of munny, and you doan hab wots of money. Dey shud sharrre more of dere munny wif you, wite?
But the left simply loves it. Lovvvvvvves it. They love it so much that they gave Cuomo an Emmy Award for his 2020 televised Covid briefings. DimJoe Biden said that Cuomo’s handling of the Covid crisis was “the Gold Standard.” Libs lapped up his vapid, chest beating book on leadership, American Crisis, Leadership Lessons from the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Well, maybe not so much. Turns out that Governor Covid, how shall we say, “adjusted the numbers.” His own Attorney General, Letitia James, told us that in January, that Cuomo and his staff deliberately underreported Covid nursing home deaths by as much as fifty percent to ward off a federal investigation. The Feds knew that Cuomo’s numbers did not add up and started asking questions. Let’s borrow one of the lib’s own favorite rhymes, used against George Bush:
Cuomo lied, people died.
In the Middle Ages, before gunpowder and cannon, a walled city siege was a tough nut to crack, even with overwhelming force. You could starve the inhabitants into submission, but your army might starve or rebel before that happened. A clever Mongol decided to catapult plague ridden corpses into the city and it was lights out for all involved. The plague eventually spread across Europe, depopulating city after city.
That’s what Governor Cuomo did to New York’s elders – and us all. He ordered hospitals to discharge infected Covid patients back to the nursing homes from whence they came. Predictably, the disease spread through previously uninfected facilities and in short order New York led the nation in Covid deaths. The “New York” strain became dominant coast-to-coast. It is hard to cipher a rational explanation for his diktat. Experts knew from the very beginning that Covid was highly infectious, and that the elderly and infirm were the most vulnerable. He did it anyway.
Shortages of hospital beds were not an excuse; they were available in abundance. Trump sent the hospital ship Mercy. It sat moored and nearly empty. Cuomo said he needed 40,000 ventilators. Trump sent him 10,000 which was more than needed. But Cuomo’s order stood from March 25 to May 8, long after it was clear that it was homicidal. Democrat Governors in California, Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, followed Cuomo’s “leadership,” issuing the same nursing home order with the same disastrous results. Their names should also live in infamy: Newsome, Whitmer, Murphy, and Wolf.
Cuomo killed 15,000 seniors, but his administration only reported half that number. Meanwhile, national leaders multiplied his body count because they wrongly believed that Cuomo’s Emmy winning, book-selling policies were working. His “numbers” looked good, even great compared to other states. Remember the concurrent, constant, vicious, media attacks on Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis? Who is laughing now? Who’s the liar?
So why do we see so many Democrats suddenly piling on, calling for Cuomo’s removal? First, Cuomo was a stooge used to attack Trump. But Trump is out of the White House. Governor Cuomo, your services are no longer required. Second, New York Attorney General Letitia James (“AG” historically stands for aspiring governor) has her own designs on the Governor’s mansion. She is a black female, far lefty, and member of the Working Families Party that backed lesbian actress Cynthia Nixon against Cuomo in the 2018 primary. This is James’ chance to protect her allies from the stink of the nursing home scandal, knife a white male, and as we are all tired of hearing, become the first …
That brings us to Phase Two of this political assassination.
Me Too Governor Cuomo, Me Too!
Three women now accuse Governor Player of sexual harassment. “You’ve got to eat the whole sausage,” is The Railer’s favorite on-cam Cuomo quote. Some of the allegations date to 2020, but others are years old. So why now? That takes us back to the start of this story. A full public airing of Cuomo’s disastrous Covid policy would leave a stink on his four Democrat Governor co-conspirators, President DimJoe Biden, the lazy lapdog news media, and Democrat blowhards coast-to-coast.
Democrats defeated Trump and won the Senate by lying about how they could magically defeat Covid. They just needed to get those heartless Republicans out of the way (you know, the people that expedited the vaccines that are changing the world today). Democrats need Cuomo to disappear, now. They need a different ending to the Cuomo Covid story. They need a different headline. They need the Democrat ordered nursing home death march narrative to fade, replaced by a titillating ME TOO fall-from-grace of a born-guilty white male. They know very well how to write that story out of thin air, just ask Brett Kavanaugh. But Cuomo has admitted it. This is easy.
The Railer hopes Cuomo stubbornly clings to power like Virginia Democrat Governor Ralph “Black-Face” Northam. It would be a shame to cancel such a great show at the very moment that all the juicy subplots crash together. Besides, the people of New York elected this clown three times. They deserve each other.
